Jörg Zehetner is founding partner at KWR and an honorary professor at the University of Salzburg.
He studied law (University of Vienna) and commercial science (Vienna University of Economics and Business) and began his career as an assistant to Prof. Heinz Krejci (Institute for Commercial Law and Securities Law, now Institute for Corporate and Commercial Law) at the University of Vienna. Parallel to his academic career, he trained as a lawyer.
Jörg Zehetner advises in particular on corporate, company and antitrust law. Companies, board members and supervisory board members also value him as a strategic advisor, making use of his interconnected understanding of legal and business contexts.

• Bearer of the Golden Decoration of Honour for Services to the Republic of Austria (2018)
• Member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Journal of Financial Market Law (ZFR) (2011-2017)
• Certified Supervisory Expert (CSE, 2011)
• Member of the Studienvereinigung Kartellrecht
• Extensive lecturing activities, inter alia as a lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the University of Vienna (since 1995), at the University of Salzburg (since 2000), at the Danube University Krems (since 2008) and at the FH programme of the Federal Ministry of Finance/FH Campus Vienna "Tax Management" (since 2012). Head of department responsible for legal education and lecturer at the FH degree programme in Banking and Finance in Vienna (1998-2008). Lecturer at the course "Supervisory Board" of the WKO/UBIT (since 2010).
• Author of numerous specialist books (including antitrust law, cession law, stock option law, equity substitution law, cooperative law, private law), commentaries (HGB/UGB, AktG, GmbHG, GenG, WAG), articles and decision reviews, co-editor of the GmbH-Bulletin (GBU) (2004-2011), winner of the Walther Kastner Prize 1999.
