Deferments for tax creditors and the suspension of the obligation to file for insolvency in the case of over-indebtedness currently still allow many companies to postpone necessary restructuring measures. However, this does not make sense!

In the foreseeable future, the relief and state support will expire. Tax arrears will have to be paid and the question of over-indebtedness under insolvency law will have to be examined. Those companies that take the necessary restructuring steps in time will emerge stronger from the crisis.

Insolvency law provisions are also of particular importance in connection with the current preparation of annual financial statements. This results in an increased liability potential - not only for managing directors, but also for tax advisors.

Using numerous practical examples, we will show you how to recognise problem areas under insolvency law and what solutions are available. This will enable you to advise your clients optimally and present suitable alternative courses of action.

The seminar provides an overview of insolvency facts and possible reorganisation options. In addition to legal basics, the economic aspects to be taken into account will be pointed out and possible measures for solving problems in individual cases will be discussed. Furthermore, liability risks (both for managing directors and tax advisors) in the insolvency-related area will be presented.
